Description - The Interstellar Medical Corps, or IMC, are a relatively new mercenary organisation. Founded by a team of former combat medics, the IMC provide battlefield medical services and trauma recovery. Utilising state of the art QEC communicators and biomonitors, the IMC are alerted any time a client appears to be in danger and dispatches a nearby squad to render assistance.
The IMC are entirely a non-violent organisation and will not participate in any ensuing conflicts unless fired on first. Typically, they will wait for the battle to end before rendering aid. As a neutral organisation, there is an unspoken galactic code that the IMC are not to be fired upon by any involved parties. To do so would risk being blacklisted from their services, as well as the services of many other galactic organisations. It is also rumoured that several Council Spectres are clients of the IMC and have been known to exact justice on those who do not respect the IMC's neutrality.
With a valid license and if an IMC squad is available nearby, at the end of combat they will revive any downed players and restore everyone to full health.
Cost - 5,000 per character in the party. Provides cover for 1 month.
Description - This boxset was released to celebrate the anniversary of the award-winning stage show 'The Scallywags of Sur'kesh', a multi-species production of a Gilbert & Sullivan classic, 'The Pirates of Penzance'. This boxset has been signed by all of the cast members and features holo-discs of the entire show plus behind the scenes footage recovered from archives. The sleeve also contains scans of the original hand-written lyrics to the hit song 'Model of a Scientist Salarian':
I am the very model of a scientist salarian,
I've studied species; turian, asari, and batarian.
I'm quite good at genetics (as a subset of biology),
Because I am an expert (which I know is a tautology).
I'm very well acquainted too with matters pathological,
I understand diseases, both benign and diabolical.
About hormonal balance, there is much that I cannot confide, (cannot confide....ah!)
As much of my career is understandably still classified.
I'm very good at testing beasts and beings animalculous,
but never any member of a species teaching calculus.
My xenoscience studies range from urban to agrarian,
I am the very model of a scientist salarian.
In fact when I know what is meant by Endocrine and Cytosol.
When I can tell at sight a mitochondria from centriole.
When such a test as tissue stress is ethically ambiguous,
And when I know precisely what is meant by "inconspicuous".
When I have learnt what progress has been made in modern genotypes,
When I know more of tactics than a simulated phenotype.
In short, when I've a repertoire of ecosystem alchemy, (Hmm...alchemy...got it!)
I'll fix a planet's biosphere to help them with their anomie!
For my anatomic knowledge, I'm the best in living memory,
and all this great achievement is in only half a century.
My xenoscience studies range from urban to agrarian,
I am the very model of a scientist salarian!
